Breaking Boundaries & Empowering Lives!

Most of our horses come from personal acquisition, or private donation, but occasionally we get the opportunity to rescue a horse from less than perfect, or even dire, circumstances. Other horses come to us to recuperate, and gain strength, after injuries or surgeries. You will find their stories below.

What we’ve come to realize is that it’s not only people who need hope for the trails they travel through life, but horses, too. We hope both will always find it here.

Wind Crystal Orion

Orion was rescued from a farm where his owner had died in an accident, and left 60 horses without food, care and attention. He was among the ungelded stallions of the herd, left confined to a stall that had not been cleaned for some time. Severely underweight and in need of gelding, and medical attention, he joined our herd. Here on our property, he enjoyed good food and care, and thrived on the most important thing of all: love. Recently, he found his forever home with good friend of Hope for the Trail, Monty Tucker, and we couldn’t be happier.
