One exciting way to become a partner with HFTT is in donating to our herd of Therapy Horses. Our goal is to keep a healthy animal in the working herd for up to five years, but there will always be a rotation of animals going out of service for age or health-related reasons. This opens a need for ongoing additions.
Because we want the most reliable animals possible to serve our clients, we do have criteria that a horse needs to meet before joining HFTT. In fact, only 1 in 10 horses offered are actually accepted into the program. If you have a horse you’d like to donate, we’d love to talk with you about it.
